Prologis, Inc., the global leader in industrial real estate, today announced that Martin Baláž has been promoted to director of development and leasing for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Martin Baláž will jointly oversee leasing and development activities in both countries, with a focus on Slovakia, and will continue to support the company’s investment projects and leasing activity in its existing distribution parks.

Prior to joining Prologis in 2014, Baláž was an associate partner at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was head of the industrial and retail warehouse department in Slovakia and head of the industrial department in the Czech Republic. He has an MBA in construction and real estate from the College of Estate Management in Reading, U.K.
